Programme with Kazakhstan extended until 2025

In the presence of Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Udo Philipp, State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, and the Kazakh Minister of Economy, Alibek Kuanyrov, signed a Joint Declaration on further cooperation within the framework of the bilateral Manager Training Programme until the end of 2025 in Astana on 20 June.

The signing took place during talks held by both Heads of State in Kazakhstan with the aim of strengthening trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. The focus is on energy, especially renewable energy, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, transport and logistics, raw materials and agriculture. Many of these topics are also focal points of cooperation in the Manager Training Programme.

Kazakhstan has been a partner country of the Manager Training Programme since 2004. Over 740 managers have successfully participated in the Programme since then.
