Accessibility statement

The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy aims to make its website partnering-in-business.de accessible. The legal basis for this is the Act on Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (BGG) and the Ordinance on Accessible Information Technology (BITV 2.0).

Level of compliance with requirements

There are regular reviews to ensure compliance with the requirements. The latest test took the form of an internal self-review in line with the BITV and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and was conducted between 1 and 30 November 2025.

According to the review, this website is partially compliant with the aforementioned requirements:

  • Some of the images are lacking alternative non-visual descriptions.
  • Not all figures and diagrams for information purposes have adequate alternative non-visual descriptions.
  • Some pages have PDF documents. Some of these are not accessible. Please contact us if you find a non-accessible PDF document and require the contained information in an accessible format.
  • Not all visually imperceptive elements are correctly hidden for screen readers.
  • Not all videos have an audio or text-based alternative.
  • The content is not offered in alternative Plain Language. Please contact us if you require this information in an accessible format.
  • The material has been optimised for screen readers, but the process has yet to be completed. Some content requires further improvement. We are committed to continuously optimising this content.

Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was created on 5 April 2024 and last updated on 4 March 2026.
The accessibility review is regularly conducted as part of a BITV self-review. Due to the size of our online presence, we follow an incremental approach with regular reviews. The last assessment was conducted in November 2025.
The content is reviewed by our staff at the time of publication.
