Partnering in Business with Germany at Drinctec 2025

The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy presented its Partnering in Business with Germany Programme at Drinctec in Munich from 15 to 19 September 2025. Visitors were able to obtain first-hand information about the programme at the exhibition stand.

Drinctec is the most important international trade fair for beverages and the liquid-food industry. This year, in particular, it set a perfect stage: in 2025 the programme welcomed ten business delegations from the food industry and smart farming sectors – many of them also active in the beverage industry.

Over five days, numerous representatives of German companies used the time to get acquainted with the programme and learn more about the possibility of targeted business initiation with the 21 partner countries. They were particularly interested in the six delegations from Georgia, Moldova, Egypt, Vietnam, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan that are invited to come to Germany before the end of the year as part of the programme. Another highlight will be their visit to the Anuga food and beverages fair in Cologne in October.

“Drinctec shows in an impressive way how German companies can use international partnerships to expand their innovative capacity. Cooperation begins with a first dialogue – and exactly this is what Partnering in Business with Germany makes possible,”-stressed Markus Weichert from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.

Spontaneous meetings also made the presentation come to life: Avirmed Mendbayar, export manager at APU, a Mongolian company which had previously taken part in the programme, confirmed that the longstanding cooperation with the German producer which was initiated as a result of the programme continues to be successful.
