Das Vorhaben, das durch Partnering in Business with Germany zustande kam und auf der innovativen Solartechnologie von Frenell basiert, wird nicht nur die lokale Energieversorgung nachhaltig gestalten, sondern auch die deutsch-ägyptische Wirtschaftskooperation stärken.

Making Partnering in Business with Germany even more effective and attractive for German companies was at the heart of the annual meeting of the Business Development Centres (BDC), held in Bonn on 4 and 5 February 2026. Turning a company visit into long-term cooperation: German engineers to use associated petroleum gas (APG) in Kazakhstan
Around the world, APG, a by-product of the extraction of petroleum and natural gas, is burned off by flare stacks, as using it often seems economically unviable or poses technical difficulties. However, German Wankel engines might soon change this for Kazakhstan. A group of Kazakhstani entrepreneurs focused on green technology visited the German company to talk about development projects in the APG sector – talks which proved successful on both sides.
Networking, innovation and new business opportunities
The smarter E Europe, Europe’s largest alliance of exhibitions for the energy sector, used Partnering in Business with Germany to bring together international and German companies for long-term cooperation. Over the course of three days in early May 2025, the programme presented its diverse array of services for the German and global economy alike. Company leaders from Vietnam and Egypt were also able to use this opportunity to make targeted business contacts with German companies from the energy sector.
Sustainable energy: Thomas Preuhs Holding in dialogue with Central Asian managers
The spotlight during the exchange at the Preuhs Campus was on technologies aimed at utilizing renewable energies in building energy supply and fostering corporate sustainability, engaging managers from Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.
